DENVER (AP) – Colorado elections administrators aren’t done ironing out the procedure for next month’s legislative recalls in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

A Denver judge is hearing the latest legal wrinkle in the Sept. 10 recall elections for two Democrats, Sens. Angela Giron and John Morse. Both are facing recall elections because of their support for gun-control measures.

Colorado Libertarians don’t like how the secretary of state has proposed to collect votes from military and overseas voters. State elections officials say the system in place is workable and allows military and overseas voters the most possible time to cast ballots.

The recalls are the first for state lawmakers in state history. Arguments didn’t conclude Wednesday, so they’ll continue Thursday.
